VRF Health Checks
Achieving an optimal working climatic environment to keep building users comfortable whilst ensuring that the air conditioning is working cost efficiently can be a challenge, especially if the equipment is not well maintained.

In order to increase energy efficiency considerably, and to benefit from potential energy savings of between 10 and 40%, whilst also contributing to increased plant reliability, reduced equipment wear and lower operating expenses; we recommend to our clients that we carry out a full System Health Check.
Health Checks are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s specification which are 2 checks per year. These are scheduled in line with the inspections required under F-Gas Regulations.
- Connect Mitsubishi Heavy Industries SL Checker/ Mente PC Software via A/B Superlink/ RS232 connection
- Check connective log
- Check system fault log
- Run system in test mode cooling
- Run system in test mode heating
- Monitor operation
- Check all thermistors
- Check transducers
- Check all system valves
- Check PFD Box operation
- Check all indoor unit operation
- Check compressor operation
- Check simultaneous operation
- Check system is working within design parameters maintaining efficiency and performance
- Check refrigerant level indirectly
- Report and supply a “snapshot” in heating and cooling operations
Diagnostic Visits
We provide a full diagnostic and repair service.
Not only will we attend site and carry out a full diagnostic visit and report but we will also carry out the repairs on our diagnosis if you require us to do so. In essence, a one stop shop.
Validation
A service provided before starting a project or a maintenance contract.
We carry out a full validation of the systems along with an inspection of conformity to installation procedures and maintenance regimes. This provides invaluable information and eradicates the problem of ‘surprise’ problems arising. A full report is provided along with supporting documentation.
Pre-Commissioning
We support the on-site installation engineers.
Site visits while the installation is ongoing can be invaluable to eradicate any potential installation problems and ensures that the installation conforms to manufacturer specification. We are happy to support the engineers with any questions they may have which may be regarding addressing the system, pressure testing and dipswitch setting to name a few examples. This service is especially useful when contractors utilize the services of sub-contractors. A full survey of the system is carried out with an Esolution design file generated.
Assisted Commissioning
A service that also benefits the engineers.
We will attend site and complete the full system setup and commissioning procedures alongside the site engineers.
Full Commissioning
A service carried out to manufacturer specification.
We will take the system from pressure testing witness stage and complete all commissioning.
Controls
An invaluable service for the efficient operation of the system.
We work on new or existing installations and offer control advice regarding upgrade and commissioning. From a simple local remote controller to a Mitsubishi Heavy Central Controller/ Modbus/ Web Gateway system, rest assured that we have the experience to cover all.
Handover and Demonstrations
A service provided to explain all.
We are happy to attend to meetings with end users or consultants on your behalf, or assist with the handover, for a smooth transition explaining and demonstrating the system in a clear and concise manner.
End User Presentations
A tailor-made presentation for on site operators of the system.
We design the presentation around the systems they are using so they can gain valuable knowledge into the world of air conditioning. Generally, points covered included but not limited to what is air conditioning, the operation, design, maintenance regimes, common problems, duties of the operator under F-Gas Regulations and demonstrations of controls. This is a valuable service as it gives the end user confidence using the equipment installed.
Design
Carried out to manufacturer specification.
We can carry out a full site survey and design the most appropriate option for optimum efficiency for you compiling a design Esolution file for system installation conformity to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Installation Procedures.
